Mentorship Program

Help ASGCT kickoff off the 23rd Annual Meeting by connecting with professionals in the field and building a mentoring relationship. Join us for the Mentoring and Reconnection Event taking place virtually on May 7, from 3-5PM EST.

If you’re interested in becoming a mentee, please build a profile on ASGCT's mentorship partnering app, MentorCity:

Set Up Your Profile on MentorCity

  1. Click the invitation button above, or here, to register.
  2. Create an account and login.

Note: You can download the MentorCity app in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Building Your Profile

There are two sections in the profile, Basic Information and Employment. Please include as much information as you feel comfortable sharing:

  • Fill in the information you wish to share under Basic Information
  • The only required areas will be marked with a (*)
  • Upload a photo if you wish.

If you are a mentee, set:

  1. Your role to mentee
  2. The maximum number of mentors at the same time to six

At the bottom of the Basic Information section, click on Save and go to the Employment section to advance to the Employment section:

  1. In the Employment section, click + Add another position
  2. Add your most recent employment and repeat for any additional positions you want to include
  3. After adding your employment experiences, then you can click on Save and Find a Mentor/Mentee.

*Please note that you will be choosing all mentors you wish to meet with. If a mentor’s timeslots fill up, you will not be able to book with that mentor and you must choose someone else.

Please submit your information no later than April 30, 2020. If you do not build a profile on MentorCity, you will be unable to participate in the Mentoring Event. Please e-mail ASGCT Membership Coordinator Alexis Starosta with any questions.
