Dr. Rudolph Jaenisch, recipient of the 2011 National Medal of Science, will deliver the Presidential Symposium lecture on Thursday, May 22nd on his work with epigenetic regulation of gene expression, reprogramming, and stem cells

This year, we are honored to announce that Dr. George Church, recipient of the 2011 Bower Award and Prize for Achievement in Science, will give the George Stamatoyannopoulos lecture on Friday, May 23rd on the potential of synthetic biology, personal genomes, and DNA sequencing to transform medicine.
