ASGT 8th Annual Meeting
June 1-5, 2005

The latest research in the field of gene therapy will be presented at the 8th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Gene Therapy (ASGT), June 1-5, 2005, in St. Louis. The leading experts in the field will gather to discuss new scientific developments on the use of gene therapy for treating infectious diseases, its use in vaccines, and updates on the latest clinical trials.

Educational sessions will discuss:

  • Gene-based vaccines and stem cell research
  • Innovative approaches to gene therapy
  • Gene therapy clinical trials
  • New Cancer Therapies

Members of the media may register without charge for the ASGT 8th Annual Meeting. Press conferences on the latest research will be conducted throughout the meeting. A press room with interview space, computers, modem lines, telephone and fax services will be available onsite for media representatives. The ASGT is the largest medical professional organizations representing researchers and scientists dedicated to discovering new gene therapies. Established in 1996, the ASGT has grown to nearly 3,000 members. The ASGT is a professional non-profit medical and scientific organization dedicated to the understanding, development and application of gene and related cell and nucleic acid therapies and the promotion of professional and public education in the field.
